About Byron Community Acupuncture

Alex Grant founded Community Acupuncture in 2009 with the goal of making acupuncture accessible to everyone. In 2013 Becky Martin joined him to work in the clinic, and since 2018 they have been running the clinic together, continuing to uphold its mission of providing affordable treatments to the local community.

Since 2013, Becky has dedicated many hours to community acupuncture, amongst private practice, and became a partner in 2020.

Alex and Becky both have over ten years of experience in acupuncture, and are registered with AHPRA.

Under their joint leadership, Community Acupuncture offers treatments in a group setting which helps eliminate financial barriers for patients. This model fosters a sense of community while allowing individuals to receive the care they need. Over the years, they have collaborated with many skilled practitioners who share their commitment to accessible healthcare.

Both Alex and Becky are involved in other projects outside of Community Acupuncture. Becky also operates a private practice Mindstate Acupuncture that provides more comprehensive one-on-one treatments for clients seeking individualized care. Their shared dedication to accessible healthcare reflects their belief in the transformative power of acupuncture and its ability to enhance well-being within the community.

As well as the core team we have many other great practitioners working at the clinic.
